Void is a short form horror shot in collaboration with long time friend and associate Stanley Roubaix.

The film came about as a challenge project where we set about to make a short horror using candlelight as the main light source. In many of the scenes, small candles provide the majority of the lighting. LED fixtures were used to create moonlight and mimic houselights in the early scenes.

Shot using a single Blackmagic Pocket 4K camera and Sigma ART lenses over three evenings, and a lot of candles, this was an incredibly enjoyable project to work on.

It has recently been selected for the Beeston Film Festival as part of the official selection.
