Oliver Ibbotson is an award winning photographer, cinematographer, and self-shooting producer, editor, and colourist based in Sheffield, UK.

Developing a passion for photography at a young age, Oliver trained in both photography and media production prior to attending university to study history & educational psychology. Oliver has a passion for connecting with people and sharing new stories, with an aim of connecting both people, and work with new audiences.

This approach has led to a love of storytelling in a range of genres and formats, from photography, to film, into mixed media installations and performance.

His work often focuses around the exploration of the intersectionality of identity, expression, movement, and place. It covers a wide genre base from documentary, to narrative, factual entertainment, experimental, portrait, dance, and fashion. Within all of these, story is the key element.

This approach has led to a wide scope of work including with theatre/dance companies, charities, corporates, and several major UK broadcasters.
